Would you buy Custom Vinyl Topsheets?

Yo so I would like to know if you guys would hypothetically be interested in buying a custom vinyl topsheet to put on new skis in order to have new graphics. You would have the option in creating your own, or buying a pre-made vinyl topsheet with original artwork. This would potentially cost you 100ish dollars. So if this service existed would you buy a topsheet?

Here is an example with what I did with a pair of my skis:

I took a new pair of 2014 Armada Al dente's




And put this new vinyl topsheet on it.

This idea comes back every few years, a couple companies have tried to do it, doesn't seem to take off in a business sense.

I'd buy some but honestly, I would probably only use them on beater skis that have thrashed topsheets.

There is really one problem I would have, and its how you would keep the vinyl sheet from chipping off and then causing the vinyl to peel up?

If you feel 100ish$ is reasonable, then yes they will be reasonably priced.

You actually can't. The topsheets have to be near perfect for the vinyl to take and hold to the original topsheets.

So believe it or not as long as you use a lot of primer and are applying them to a ski that has unscratched topsheets, then the topsheets will not peel. They will chip just like a normal topsheet. But they will not peel. I've had mine for 2 seasons and there has been zero peeling, jsut your typical wear and tear chipping.

Would you use automotive wrapping vinyl like 3m 1080 or do you use decal vinyl like orcal 651?

ive seen this tried many times its just never been actually executed on a larger scale. I would probably be interested though.
