the only problem i find with my phone is that most big apps are designed for iphone then get integrated to android, but never really work as well. you also miss out on imessage group chats but other than that my g4 is great.
JudMaster4Ive got an lg g4 and the only thing i dont like is all the bloatware it came with, not sure if iphones hav that ive never had one
If you think its baad on the G4 just wait and see the G5. I just upgraded it and it had almost 4 GB of shit on it right out of the box. The camera is better though so its all good
For years I used android phones, more recently a nexus 6 (loved it) and I switch to the iphone for some work reasons, mostly social apps that work better with iOS, etc. Heres my two cents:
Both operating systems work, both do exactly what the general public wants. Iphones are more expensive, but flashier, samsung is doing a good job at emulating this. Both have downsides, both have upsides, but in 2016 all smart phones do the same thing and its all personal preference. I personally like having android, unlocking my phone and rooting the OS, but the iphone works fine for everything i "need" it to do, not necessarily "want" to do.

this^^^ I absolutely love my Nexus 6P. android has so much more in the way if customizability. the only things I dislike are the photo/video compression when posting to Instagram or snapchat. and the lack of iMessage. one solid messaging system that is cross platform that everyone is willing to use would make everything a hell of a lot easier.
momsspaghettiios is so much more consistent and smooth and the physical construction on iphones is WAY better than most androids
itunes is a god damn abortion
but face it, if you're an everyday user ios/iphones are better. their fit and finish is superior.
I really dislike the exterior of the iphone 6/6s, but i also disliked the exterior of the nexus 6, both so fucking slippery, it would just fall out of my hands. Honestly, my roommates nexus 6p and my iphone 6s plus feel exactly the same in my hand (with a case obviously) the only way you can tell the difference is the physical home button on the iphone.
The fact the new iphone 7 doesn't have a headphone port really rubs me in the wrong direction, they claim it was to make thiner (which is stupid, it's so thin) but it was so they could market their headphones and bluetooth devices, which is the main reason I hate apple and iphones, they always have to limit their products for company gain.
Imagine if apple just made the most bad ass, open platform, most logical smartphone possible, it would be the best smartphone on the market, but they always have to limit it for their own gain. Oh well, capitalism.

yeah, they are kind of running out of 'features' to cram into phones so they gotta think of something to nudge the conspicuous consumer along.
and yeah i agree the nexus 6 is like a bar of wet soap without a case.
eventually the android manufacturers will get the construction down and make it as solid as iphones...but people were saying this years ago so who knows. i think most of apple's consumer base simply does not give a flying f about android and will continue to buy whatever apple puts out. might be another reason why apple is seeing diminishing returns on innovation in the phone market

except for
- an actual radio. my android phone has one, iphones don't and most other android don't. I use it all the time so it's a big thing for me.
- the apps that don't exist for iphone. There are a ton of really useful and excellent apps that just don;t exist for iphone. None I know of that are iphone only that don't have equivalents for android.
I had a droid mini turbo thing, really not bad but towards the end of its life it wouldnt charge until it the charger was in it just right, turn off randomly, Vire Launcer would crash daily. Had it April 2014-May 2016, my iPhone works fine so far.
Droids are fine theyre just more for geeks, businessmen etc.
Both have pros and cons but the bottom line is....
Dont fucking complain if you have one or the other
eindelijkskisThat's why you never buy a carrier phone.
this. if you're buying an android phone, I recommend buying an unlocked phone. software updates don't have to go through the carrier and minimal bloatware
Look at this battery life for the love of fuck. It's even better in cold weather because the phone doesn't get as warm.
I have the original droid turbo from 1 1/2 years ago and it's still like 5 years ahead of the current IPhone. Apple still hasn't figured out wireless charging, which is so nice btw. The turbo charger charges to 100% in like 70 minutes. Looks dope too with the carbon fiber construction.

My iphone 6s plus battery is a champ, but thats cause its a larger phone.
People that have issues with battery life just use their phone way too much, regardless of brand.

that's not great battery life. my sony from 2 years ago can still go 3 days on a charge depending how much I use it. If I do 15-20 text, 10-15 minutes of call, 2-3 hours of music/radio, 30 minutes of web browsing a day and I'm not in low reception areas then 3 days is doable. Overnight it looses 2-3% battery. When I first got it it would lose maybe 1% and could do 4 days no problem.
the trick: rooted and have an app that automatically throttles the cpu when you're not using it or are using apps that don't need much.
I went from a iPhone 4s to a GS5 and love it. Its battery is 5 times better, even better than newer iPhones, gets a full charge in like 2 hrs. Has better quality, imo better layout, more complex but if you figure out how to use it its better. I use my old iPhone for music and iTunes so i didnt really lose anything, I cant be in group messages but just use GroupME instead. Has a hard leather backing so it doesn't fall out of your palm, or slide off anything. Cant wait to get the GS7
I think people dont like android because it doesn't pamper you the way Apple does. Its a little more raw and less simple. Although this is what makes it so much better that Apple. Apple doesn't give you any fucking freedom. They force you to use their services and make your device less useful by now allowing you to access system files, downloading wider range of files and the interface itself isn't even customizable. also, fuck ITunes.
