You can tell a lot about someone just by the stickers and decals the choose to represent on their vehicle!
I am no different. What does your stickers say about you?
LETS SEE THEM NS!

.Hugo.Your sister lets you drive her car? Thats so nice of her
GORILLAWALLACEmiatas are for cunts
theBearJewSo what about magnets?
TheHamburglarThat's interesting, I live in LA and have a few stickers on my back windshield, as well as VT plates after 7 years of living in CA. And *knocks on wood* I've never been pulled over nor given a second look by cops, despite being that dick whose car is blasting heavy rock riffs at all times.
For the thread I have a big Ocean Beach (OB) sticker in the middle of back windshield, also a big ol NS on the left and a Bear Mtn sticker on the right. The Bear was once red and is now light pink from sunfade, getting replaced with a C&K sticker soon
supermagician__but you're also taking shit way too seriously if you think the added millisecond of cops attention you're going to grab will affect you, or anyone else here. People who I hang out with bomb their windshields (front) with stickers and generally no one gets messed around with unless they're actually in the process of doing illegal shit.
making things look nice is not immature, the community surrounding vehicles and doing proper vinyl work is probably more lucrative than whatever you're doing right now lol.
supermagician__i feel like this isn't the case at all
i drive a miata with hoss glass stickers on it and i've never had a problem, cops don't give a fuck as long as your polite. (pulled over for completely unrelated scenarios to my sticker choice)
Bodhisattva_I think you're just upset because people don't agree that sticker bombed cars look as cool as you think.
supermagician__you're like half a year late, and I only jumped in here because caligrowns convinced that stickers on a car somehow relate to how you're treated in real life scenarios.
californiagrown... they are though. If you dont want to believe it and go through life with the cop out attitude of "people who judge me for the voluntary image i portray to the world can suck a dick", go ahead. You just sound like a teenager... which oddly is exactly what your car makes you look like.
supermagician__I'm not too worried though, it's an interest of mine and if done right it looks really cool. It means a lot more in the car community to rep your friends work, team, brand ect. I seriously doubt you'll ever understand it, and that's exactly why it's done.
that and if teenagers suddenly became interested in stock miatas I would literally shit myself. I get a ton of compliments on the car considering its from 89, and its 90% immaculate. I have more stickers on my superduty than on my miata.
saskskierNow I drive a BMW
cydwhitI generally drive pretty beater cars. I don't usually speed, and I don't smoke, so I'm not ever worried about cops or resale value.
So I have a lot of stickers, just because I like to rep people I'm friends with, and they make my scion look less like a sorority girl owns it.
But I only put a sticker on my car if I have a personal relationship with something to do with the brand or place.
DeebieSkeebiesnever really experience cops harassing me or my friends who have all had stickers on their cars. Granted we are pasty white bread kids in a ski town so that may explain it. Sounds like a lot of you guys live in small towns with cops that have nothing better to do, Its mostly interstate driving where I am at with Highway Patrol up the ass and Ive never ever seen them pull over cars with shitloads of stickers, its usually Mexicans or asshats who drive like shit/speed.
TheHamburglarAnother one of THOSE guys, eh? :D
Jokes, what model?
saskskierI've got a 2006 325i. It's filthy right now, but once I wash it, I'll post an updated pic in the car thread.
Such an awesome car though. Fast, way better gas mileage than I expected, great handling, rwd is fun. Maintenance and repairs can be pricey though, so that's a bit of a bummer. Otherwise it's easily the best car I've owned.
californiagrownI mean, you're right. If you are big into the modding streetcar scene, why worry about the stickers. Your car already says a lot about you, the stickers are just the finishing touch. Glad you embrace it.
Your car doesn't define you, but it sure creates an initial perception that you need to overcome to be considered an intelligent, mature person.
If I just wore pastel v-necks, boat shoes, and just drank natty light, it doesn't mean I'm a dumb frat jock, but I'd sure have to overcome that initial impression to show otherwise.
supermagician__i drive a miata
supermagician__that's kinda what i'm saying, if you're just ricky bobbying it then whatever but people actually spend a lot of time figuring out what their lines of view are ect. to do a proper job of it. When you really think, some semis windows are minute compared to the windshield of a car.
It takes a lot of balls to do something like that, I guess wearing pastel v necks and boat shoes all the time would too in a weird way. It's all about what a person thinks is stylish. we could argue about it forever and not get anywhere really.
milk_manDo you do house calls? My hair is getting really long
californiagrownhaha im not saying that at all. Im saying that stickers on your car, ESPECIALLY "proper sticker jobs" scream out to the public that you are immature, tacky, and crave attention.
supermagician__wya fam i gotchu
that sounds more like a personal opinion than what the public thinks. I don't even fall in this category, i'm telling you that with experience, cops and people generally don't bat a fucking eyelash if your car is functioning properly and has a few stickers in odd places.
that is what the public thinks by the way, they don't care. You care way too much about what other people think, you brought furthering your personal life and clothing decisions into this. My pipelaying boss gave me a hard time for driving my car, but it made me a better driver. You sound like you're scared of a millisecond of extra attention, and that is something that I do not envy. I'm done arguing with you.
supermagician__why would you start a post like this and then support literally everything else I said afterwards? If someone I work with, or know, is going to judge me over what my car looks like they can go suck dicks is all.
you're like half a year late, and I only jumped in here because caligrowns convinced that stickers on a car somehow relate to how you're treated in real life scenarios.
californiagrownYound sound willfully ignorant and immature. Funny how we could have guessed that just by looking at your car lol.
Keep on thinking you aren't judged because of the type and look of the car you drive. Your ignorance doesn't affect me, only you.
Bodhisattva_Super confused as to where you think I was supporting anything you are saying
montageskieran adult who hasn't fully grown up yet.
CaptainObvious.Something you should legit strive to be for the rest of your life.
