AT Boot with Rossi FKS 185?
Is it at all possible to modify the FKS 185 binding to work with a Scarpa Maestrale boot? Is it just due to the height of the full sole on the boot or what?
They're not DIN certified, (I don't think) so it's recommended that you don't use them in alpine bindings.
Is the sole rockered? If so you might not be able to fit them in because of the toe height.
Regardless, the release may be inconsistent due to the rubber sole.
I used my Scarpa Mobe's in a jester demo, and I could feel the rockered sole of my boot flatten out when I clicked in, made for some not so comfortable skiing.
The Salomon/Atomic Warden and Marker Lord are both alpine binders with adjustable toe height and a sliding AFD to accommodate AT boots.
Actual answer: no
Have I jammed AT soles in it? Yes.
Whoa nice, I may have to try those. Have you actually used those? Very curious how well it works.
