Mike Metzger in Near Tragic Crash (and lost a nut)

The Godfather of Freestyle, Mike Metzger, is now back in California recuperating from his terrible crash and injury in Geneva, Switzerland, nine days ago. Metzger lost one of his testicles when he failed to land a backflip, and he spent six days in the hospital there. Eric Peronnard, the founder of the U.S. Open and EnduroCross, who accompanied Metzger and Matt Goerke to the event, stayed in Europe with Metzger the whole time.

Goerke, by the way, suffered a dislocated wrist at the Geneva race when he landed awkwardly off a triple jump.

MX is dope as fuck. Don't be hatin' on MX. Those guys need to have soooo much skill. If you think about it, could you imagine the pro skiers having to be good racers, and flawless jumpers (seeing that MX bikers land on the ground when they bail, as opposed to powder, or soft snow). Mike Metzger is the man.

remember when there was that one kid posting all the pictures of himself doing backflips and shit, adn everyone bought into it then the real guy who was actually in the photos came on and told everyone? I do find it funny that a pro mx'r failed to lad a backflip, I mean shit henrick can do then.

i have a 24 year old cuz that tells me and my other cuz that he was metz's best man at his wedding and he says he talks to him all the time. He lies so much he believes his own lies, and he thinks we believe him as well. Last year he said metz could land the back flip 360 easily on dirt .'I just talked to him, he called me after he landed it' hahaha riiiiiight
