Shorter skis:
Better for learning balance
Better for learning spins
Better for carving short-radius turns

Longer skis:
Faster
Better for landing jumps (forgiving)
More versatile (all-mountain)

longer, shorter sucks.

i wish line would make some of their skis longer. i love the chronics and sprangs, but they feel so damn short under my feet
