i had big trouble locking down my swups at rails all season. every time i did front switchup i would fall down before rail ended. then last week some guy at my local hill told me that Will Wesson and other pros use same method that is used in freestyle rollerblades. you just take angle grinder and make small cut under your inner edge!
been riding my "bladeskis" for a week now
here are some pictures of my prototypes:

Op you are overthinking this.. All it takes is practice. I would recommend practicing rails unnatural so when u go for the switch up you will be comfortable on your unnatural side. Also get that front edge and lock into the rail.
