Line SFB vs. Line Supernatural 108 vs. Faction Candide 2.0 vs. Candide 3.0

Hey guys

As you can read in the title, I cant decide wich ski of them I should buy.

To me:

- 184cm
- 67kg
- very good skier

Riding style:

- Preferably Powder (when there is pow)

- If the powder is allready "damaged" by all the people, I also ski the moguls which got builded up.

- But sometimes I also like to just make full-speed carving turns at the piste (sometimes its also the oldschool-mogul style when I have to make short turns because of the gapers :D)

- If on my way down to the lift I see a few kickers, Im mostly gonna take them (no heavy tricks like backflips and spin for win, just everything till 360, so the main goal is the airtime)


My thoughts at the Ski:

- Line SFB: Maybe not that good in highspeed-piste runs but for sure great fun in Pow and Park.

- Line Supernatural 108: Since it doesn't have a "real" twintip, its for sure better at the piste but maybe not that good skiing switch and for park and pow.

- Faction Candide 2.0: Very jib-oriented, maybe a bit to soft flex for charging at the piste/pow

- Faction Candide 3.0: Maybe the same issue as with the SFB, so beeing not stable at high-speed and flattering in harder snow?


Now I hope you can help me with my decision.

If there are any grammar mistakes, please be aware, Im from Switzerland :D

I don't really know something about the other ski's but I recently bought the Faction Candide 2.0 and my skiing style is almost exactly the same and i must say they are pretty good at fast charging on the pistes. They are also really good in the park and just freestyling across thr whole mountain.

They really are the most fun ski i have ever ridden :)

Of course they're pretty flexible but i havent had a single moment where i felt like i was gonna crash because they were too flexible or anything.

Thank you for your hint. Isn´t the 2.0 very jib-oriented?

Any other guys who can say anything about the skis?

Right now Im splitted up between Candide 2.0 and 3.0

Line Supernatural is a fun, great charging ski. I have the SFB’s 108 version and they are the funnest skis I’ve ever ridden. Not chargers by any means but great at jibbing and awesome in the trees.

The thing which olds me back of the Line 108 is that I dont think its a good ski for jumping/kickers because it isn´t symetrical.
As you have said that, the SFB already dropped out of my favorites list when I can´t charge with them.

So still Canide 2.0 vs 3.0 :/

The 190cm SFB is a decent charger, not as fun as the 184cm. I would compare the SFB to the rossi sickle, just lighter and funner.

Faction 3 Zero is more like the Cochise as a directional charger with a very playfull side.

Are you going to be landing switch a lot? The Moment Deathwish is also an awesome ski to look into.

I would Pick the Candide 3.0. It is a bomber ski for how light it is. I was on next years model a few weeks ago and it ripped, there is no change but graphics from this years to next years. The bacon is a little softer and more playful than the faction. The 2.0 is a little bit more freestyle oriented as it does have a symmetrical side shape to it. But either way both faction skis are fun as hell to ski!

I'm also trying to pick between the 2.0 and 3.0. I currently have atomic infamous which are fun for jibs and small-medium booters but feel a bit sketchy at higher speeds. I want a ski which I can take into the park on occasion but basically bomb around pistes and trees and hit side booters no issue. My specs are 75kg, 5'11, advanced skier freestyle orientated. Any advice?

That is a huge toss up. Both are great skis, the 2.0 is quicker turning and more nimble, as well as snappier. The 3.0 is just a bomber ski. I would think of it as an everyday colorado/utah ski. Bomb groomers, hit booters, and everything in-between, but I would probably not take it into the park personally.
