Replying to Looking for a cheap rockered pow/crud ski
Im looking for a cheaper powder/crud ski that I can use up here in wisconsin. I like jumping off of any rock/ pillow i can find and getting crazy with it. i ski pretty fast but still would like something playful, after the powder gets packed down i love to ski fast and blast through all the little piles made by pizzaing skiers. We dont get a lot of snow the most being a foot but the usual being 6-8 on a good day. I want a ski that is tough, rockered and relatively cheap. It needs to be able to take a beating as half the time ill be skiing with 1-2 inches of snow over a shit ton of rocks. Right now im looking at the surface all mountain blanks given their 2.5mm edges and extruded bases all with a good price. Sadly they are full cambered and im not a fan. I could make an exception and i might have to. But i thought i would first turn to you guys. I would really like something at least 106 underfoot and 120-130 at the tip and tail as im a bigger guy 5'11 190 pounds. Any suggestions would be great. I would totally just go buy a pair of kartels or something from moment skis cause thats what i ride. but at upwards of 500 dollars i cant in good faith buy them for "powder" in the northwest.
