Tips to prevent toe bang

I have a pair of Full Tilt Descendant 6 in size 27.5 ,the correct size for me, with heat molded footbeds, but I still get toe bang.

Does anybody here have the same experience or got any tips for me?

Toe bang is a real bi*** and I appreciate every tips I could get.

Smaller/tighter boots, cut nails, and try a thicker sock

Go to the best Boot fitter You can find. For me, I have full custom footbeds and a boot he put me in, but I still got terrible toe bang. It turns out I have a odd bone in my left inside of my ankle and it sticks out and causes my whole left foot to be shifted forward and not seat in the heel pocket. So he stretched the shell and my toe bang basically went away. However I do stll get it when my boots aren't racheted down and I drop a cliff.

There is only 1 way to prevent it.... keep your shins pressed into the front of your boots and dont land backseat.

I have decendant 6, no molded footbeds but I used to get toe bang a lot. I now cut my toenails the day I go skiing and wear a little bit thicker sock. Also, keeping the ankle tighter on the boot helps, along with trying to keep your weight forward so your foot doesn't slide forward.

try everything above and or a future boot. Salomon boots have a rubber toe to stop toe bang.
