I honestly wouldn't care. I love bibs all the time, and feel like removing the bib just adds zippers. Especially if you were to continue offering the pants you already have and then just added a bib as well, I think it could do fine as a permanent piece.
I like having a bib because it keeps snow out of my butt even when I crash on groomers.

Same. I don't personally remove my bibs, I just wear other pants.
to be honest I personally can't see any reason to not want a bib, but thats just me. If you can make the system that connects them fairly low profile go for it though
I've been wearing bibs for the last 6 years...they are pretty much the best. I've owned both styles and can't really say with any certainty one is better than the other. I never remove the bib part anyway so i guess I would lean towards an integrated top and bottom version, as i have had models where the zipper on the removable ones can come slightly unzipped, adds bulk at the waist, etc. which can be annoying in certain situations - mainly touring.
Im actively searching for a ncie pair of bib pants. I think that would be such a good feature especially for an east coast rider like myself who would want to take it off on warmer days or non pow days or occasional trips out west.
Or if you guys made a couple different versions...shell and insulated.
Seems like an extra zipper will add to the cost and be one more thing to break. Most of the time I wear bibs but I have a couple pairs of ski pants too. I don't need to turn my bibs into pants.
I never understood the allure of removable bibs. If I didn't want bibs I wouldn't buy bibs. I will never go back to a normal pant, bibs are way too convenient and comfortable. No belt, no snow down my pants, more pockets.
From a business perspective, I see a "permanent" bib pant as somewhat of a niche product. The vast majority of your market or core users are going to be terrain park skiers with little need for a bib. You'll have the skiers like Ian Compton, etc that wear bibs over a crew-neck hoodie. You'll have another select amount of riders that wear the bibs down, a la Simon Dumont of a few years ago; though that style seems to have come and gone. You'll then only have a small numbers of skiers that wear a bib for technical purposes; deep snow. From there, it then depends on how well positioned you are in that marketplace. I can see the permanent bib being a viable product as a limited piece within an expansive full pant line, but not as a full-production product. The removable bib offers greater versatility and even allows for mixing & matching of colors & styles, were you to make more than one removable-bib style pant.

But on topic, I'd say go removable. I'd never take off the top chunk personally, but thats a zipper that rarely fails on a set of bibs anyways. Keeps both sides of consumers happy

Pretty much this right here. Maybe add a grey or a black. Id like to see the bib as one solid color like the green and then the pants in a khaki or something. Just food for thought

Not a bad idea, the one thing i would complain about is barely fitting my phone in there due to having good width but poor height. A medium depth should seal the deal on that pocket. I just wouldn't make it too big because when mine got full it would be heavy and floppy.

Absolutely digging that Red. I'm going to buy some bib pants next year it would be nice to see them similar to what you posted and not some unfuncational xxxxxxxxxxl park pants.
But for me...red, definitely a black, maybe a blue or green also. Denim would be a sick color

Agreed. Also, as far as colors I want, definitely jet black. Also potentially a super dark green or blue
First off, bibs rock. I have owned several pairs, and while all have had the option to zip off the bib from the pants, I never have, though I like the option to be able to. Seems like something that would only make the bib more appealing to people, and would not cost very much more, for you or customers. I will say the one annoying thing with zip off bibs is that they often have a gap, where the pants meet the bibs, usually in the front, that snow can get in through, which kind of defeats the main purpose of bibs in the first place. My favorite design has been where the zipper that holds the bibs to the pants ends on the side of the pants, and is on the outside of the pants, so that the bib is over top of the pants just slightly when zipped, so snow doesn't get trapped in the crevice. I'm a fan of solid color pants with a tiny bit of contrast in parts like the zippers, snaps, or seams. Also, please don't leave out inner thigh vents, and don't make the cuffs on the bottom have stiff zippers going up the leg or else the pants bag up weird . The pants look sweet in the picture, I'm excited to see the final product!
I forgot to add - the zip off bibs I have do not have a waist cinch. I would use them as just pants, but they are so wide at waist a belt won't work. these aren't huge parkrat pants either, they are normal fit.
These would probably look pretty tight. Someone should photoshop all the main colors that everyone likes onto the photo of the bibs above and see what gets the most upvotes

Not entirely sure if this was already added because I skimmed through the thread but having oversized vents would be great for those spring days also maybe a mesh lining so you don't get sweaty. Just some ideas
those designs look sick, although if the khaki had the same design as the black with black accents instead of the all black patches they'd look better imo
These three should all be on lock for 16-17! The red ones might be even better with black boxes around the knees like the others. The solid color is a little plain for my taste but that is the perfect shade of red!
I also really dig the subtle plaid pattern that you had on the onward jackets for 15-16. Mixing that into the pants as well would be great.
I'm super stoked for this outerwear next year. Definitely buying a full Bloom suit!
