Wearing Knee Guards While Skiing

I saw LJ wearing knee guards on the latest TC episode and I was wondering if anyone else wore them and if so, what brand. I was thinking about getting them for urban.

I think Saga is planning on releasing knee pads in their 16/17 lineup. Only problem is theyre gonna be like floral so its gonna be hella gay

I wear 661 evo mountain bike knee pads whenever I'm tele skiing. IDK if that answers your question at all.

If you've ever watched the vid of LJ's season ender from a few years ago, you can tell why he would wear them.

i wear a back protector sometimes. i have had crashes where it did come in handy. with they way you normally fall on skis though, i don't think knee pads would be the biggest help.

ive smashed my knee biking plenty of times, but i cant really recall ever doing that on skis. maybe they would be beneficial if you ski a ton of rails.

Op if it helps LJ's are mountain biking knee pads from Fox Racing. He's used them ever since he shattered his knee on a rail 4 years ago - no need to learn that lesson twice!

I bruised my patella (knee cap) pretty severely 2 years ago after my knee hit a rail. about 3 weeks after i was comfortable to ski again, i wore a knee pad just for safety to hinder further injury, and that what lj is doing to.. other wise normally no i dont wear one
