Hiya,
Got some Candide 2.0's and pondering over where the hell I should mount my bindings.
So, I want to progress my freestyle quite a bit but I don't want to loose an all Mountain feel on my ski's (I think for the time being ill be playing on kickers over rails). I was thinking that I would mount my bindings at the Candide recommended line which I believe is -2.5cm from center line (the skis haven't arrived yet.. :/)
The problem is that I took out some center mounted volkl ledge skis yesterday, and using them on the mountain was horrible, in the air however, I can see the benefit of center mounting immediately. It's kinda put me off center mounting skis for a ski that's not solely used in the park.
I need some advice if skiing center mounted skis is something you must get used to and if not, how close can you go to center to stop the dragging feeling from the tail. Would -2.5cm be sufficient to keep the ski good for freestyle progression but not ruin the fun out of the park.
Thanks
