Looking at picking up a North Face hard shell jacket, no insulation.
Currently have a softshell jacket, pit zips and all that good stuff. I sweat a bit on the slopes so the pit zips do help.
If I made the switch over to a hard shell, whats the best way to insulate? I usually wear under armor base, some polyester long sleeve, then the soft shell jacket.
With hard shell looking at under armor base, polyester long sleeve shirt, then maybe a fleece with pit-zips or a insulated mid weight. Maybe lose the long sleeve shirt at this point?
Just wanted to hear your guys set up.
