Irish student studying a year abroad in either Germany or Austria. What uni is the best for skiing?

So next year im doing the erasmus (year abroad) programmand I have choice of colleges from Austria and Germany to choose from. I was just wondering which uni has the best ski scene and secondary has a good party life too? Are there ski uni clubs there?
Are there many park riders?

(On my phone sorry it's presented kind of shit)

My German teacher is from Austria. He studied at the University of Innsbruck. Gondola ride to the mountain was a 5 minute walk from his apartment. Look up some pics. It's really sick. Tuition is like $2000 per year, and the work isn't that hard. His wife studied at Innsbruck as an American with no knowledge of German and said the experience was great.

Chur, Switzerland has a cool university and a great ski hill that within walking distance from most parts of the city. ( I think we have a man staying with us from there and he doesnt speak the best english) I have been once to Chur when i was 12, mountains everywhere and it is super small and secluded so not many tourists.

There is no university in Germany with what you would call a true ski scene. You will have to stick to Austria for that one.

Innsbruck as mentioned, else Graz, Salzburg are options here. Eventually Vienna but then you could opt for Munich either. There is a distance learning university at Bregenz meaning you enroll in one of their programs but reside and ski elsewhere in the Vorarlberg state.

Do you know if Munich or Vienna have like university Ski clubs that organize lifts to the ski hills? IF so are the much free riders/Park riders there. Racing seems very popular there would it be hard find a crew of park/freeriders at the Universality?

Mostly such clubs are not so much into park, guess Innsbruck is probably the best in that respect. Touring is usually pretty emphasized if that is your thing. Try a search on the universities websites for some contact info and ask them directly.

One thing though, whether Vienna or Munich the commute to some really good skiing is 2 hrs or more. The cities are worth it though.
