I have a pair of Atomic infamous skis and when I'm trying butters or I hit rails I always have my edges catch. Im just wondering if I should detune the whole ski tip to tail or just the contact points and how much? I want to do way more park than all mtn so being able to carve isn't that big of deal and I really want to be able to butter like everywhere
i would just do 3-4 inches infront and back of binding. just ski them for a bit until you get some burs or shavings and clean them up when needed after about 2 times they should be dull enough not to catch
Aaaaabghhhh, detuning is forever ago, ancient history.... Please someone listen to me on this----change your side edge angle to 0*, give yourself at least .75*-1* base bevel.---
Ski like you have edges, slide rails and butter like you don't.
Thank me later
