Hi! My first post here, sorry for any nOOb errors i might do. Have read a lot at the forum here but now I decided to create an own account. I've finally decided to quit rentals and to buy my own stuff. By this, you sort of get my level of ski ability. I moved to the US this year and will ski the whole winter season, a lot more hours on the skis per year than I'm used to. I recently started to ski park so I'm better at all mountain skiing than park. I've been skiing for about a week every year since I was 5 but nothing more than that. Can do some 3's and 5's but nothing advanced, the same goes for rails. Pretzel 270 off is the most I can do, haha. But now, on to the question:
I've found a decent deal on a pair of Atomix Punx (2015) and it seems like a ski that is not too "advanced" or hard for a beginner-intermediate but at the same time a ski that I can really develop in (Gus Kenworthy, Andreas Håtveit etc.). I don't really know what bindings to buy though. I found a good deal on a pair of unused Head Mojo 15's (2013), do they still work in the park or are there better options for the price (I can get the Mojo's for $130), considering it's been some years since they were made (2013)? I'm exactly 6 foot and weigh 150lbs (planning on getting some more mass though).
And now on to the skis, how long skis should I buy? As I said, I'm 6'. Since I won't really do any 60' jumps I don't really need that long skis for stability. I'm thinking about either 170cm or 176cm, will I feel cramped on the 170's? I don't want to have too long skis either since I want to get better at spinning in all directions, both on rails and in the air.
Oh by the way, this is all for park skiing, I just bought another pair of all mountain skis that I do everything besides park on.
