SladeSkiI've used P14s and P18s on my park skis. I'm 5'11", 160 lbs.
I used to use Markers, but decided to give the P14s a few years ago. They were great but one year I found a half price sale on brand new P18s, so I jumped on them and I'll never change binding types again. They make me feel so secure, and the release is super smooth as I'm on the lowest DIN setting. Durability is on point. Only thing about Looks is worrying about the brakes, but for me it's totally worth it.
BrothsTopazYeah I definitely try to stay away from as much plastic as possible but it's nice for the lightweight. But thanks for the input gentlemen. Currently looking at some look p18 right now. So you guys like the p14s?
shin-bangYea if you're not blowing up binding toes and having pull outs, you may be just fine with the 140s. But some people like sacrificing a little extra weight for that extra durability. What's your height, weight, skiing ability, ect?

SladeSkiWith your weight you could definitely ride in the P18 comfortably in the low DIN range. The P14s are great bindings. That being said, for me the more durable metal toe was worth the extra cost. Absolutely love the bindings, I think you'll be fine no matter which one you pick. The extra weight between the 14 and 18 really doesn't matter, and isn't really noticeable for me.
