Ugliest Helmet & Goggle Setup Contest

What's up NS,

As many of you probably know, we are releasing a line of goggles for the first time ever this year! This is a big deal for us and in order to celebrate we are offering you the chance to win a pair for free with our Insta/Facebook contest!

Style matters. And for that reason, we are going to poke some fun at our not so stylish gear that we've purchased over the years. All you have to do to win is post the ugliest helmet and goggle setup that you've ever had the misfortune of owning.




The rules are simple:

To enter on Instagram, post a photo of yourself with your ugliest helmet and goggles on Instagram and tag @bernunlimited and use #stylematterscontest in the caption.

To enter on Facebook, post a photo of yourself with your ugliest helmet and goggles on the event page. Please use #stylematterscontest with your photo.

I had a pretty ugly white bike helmet. At the skatepark you had to wear it and my friends made fun of me. Finally when I was 12 or 13 I bought myself a new bucket.

I'll look through some photo albums and see if I can find it.

Might have my og ski helmet too. I'll see what I can dig up.

You are talking about the Electric helmets, not the same as this poc. I would rock both Electric in a heartbeat, same with that poc.

These are the type of people who need our help! I'm sure none of us here have ever done THAT badly in the style department, but everyone here has to be guilty of looking like a gaper at some point in their career.

That post may have come across as a little harsh. These are the type of people that this contest celebrates. If someone can have fun skiing while wearing a pair of lab goggles, imagine how much more fun this person can have while wearing a pair of goggles that actually keeps the wind out of their eyes and helps them see better in various light conditions... not to mention looking badass in the liftline!

I don't consider it damage control. I'm just trying to promote a positive image for the contest.

It's not about ripping on people who don't have style. It's about helping out the guys who are out there having fun every day whether they have style or not. Maybe they can't afford a new pair of goggles but they are still out there killing it next to the kids who get a brand new setup every year. These are the people that keep skiing fun and we want to reward them by upping their style game.

Here's mine. The eye holes kinda suck, so if I won the goggles and saw a hole out of the front so I could put them in.

No problem man. I actually upvoted your comment because I thought it was funny because we have no PR department.

Just gotta be careful with a contest like this that the emphasis stays on fun. The vibe can very easily get away from you and transform into something entirely else if we're not careful.

i think they look fine but ive never had a good goggle fit when trying it over the helmet. my dad still rips on me for wearing them underneath and doesnt believe a word i say of it being a practical choice haha

In that scenario it looks much better. Jacket fully zipped, maybe a backpack on and skiing pow. But cruising park laps in a long sleeve with goggle strap over... doesn't look the best
