In the past the ads that ran before videos on this site were all around 15 seconds or shorter, and were skiing related. Recently, I have noticed that the ads are never related to skiing(stupid game ad), and are double, or even 4 times as long as they used to be. I just watched the new Glacier days edit, and I had to watch a minute long Old Spice ad. There was no way to skip the ad, and it is fucked that to watch a 2-3 minute video that I have to sit through a minute long ad that is not related to skiing.
I got one that was I think 320 seconds the other day? It was that Asian guy who's always asking me if I like eating steak and potatos, and having SIX PACK ABS.

Aha yes, that's him. Don't get me wrong I wish I was a ripped asian dude like he is with SIX PACK ABS, but damnit Mike your unskippable 300+ second adds are too much dude.

I'll have to look into this, I know there was some issues with a new ad provider.
on the same subject, whats with red bull invading the sponsored side of the homepage. I'm all down for snowboarding being on NS but there have been times where that entire side of the page is snowboarding stuff, and it isn't always obvious by whats in the ad. I guess I wouldn't care if it was community made content but tbh it feels a little sell-out ish

He's got so many shortcuts to 'six pack abs', why doesn't he give us a shortcut to 'skip his ads'.
I'd just like to note that I'm getting one on the side for period pads. Oh, and it's in spanish. So I guess the ad provider thinks I'm a spanish girl. Pretty sure I don't browse sites that a spanish girl would frequent but who knows...

Adblock is awesome, but I disable it for certain sites that I like. I like NS and thus I told adblock to not run on the newschoolers domain but lately I've thought about turning it back on because of the huge banner ads at the top of the site.
Sometimes they load, sometimes they don't, and sometimes Satan sticks his dick in the internet and they load the split second before I click a link and BOOM, my page scrolls down and I click a link to another forum instead of the thread I was trying to get to and then I get mad and yell at the computer and if you want me to keep adblock off for NS get rid of the damn Level 1 and SnapChat ad banners that block half the screen.
