Hey guys, forget the last thread and sorry for the lack of updates over the last little while. I've been working on some new stuff. It's on the dev site so send me a pm with your IP address so that I can give you access to it. You can find it by googling "what is my ip". Make sure it's your static IP, not the one that starts with 192. If you create levels try not to share them outside of here since the URLs will be invalid once the update is released and other people who don't have access to the dev site won't be able to try them.
If you have any feedback post it in this thread. Thanks!
-Slightly new look
-In air animations so the guy isn't just a boner if he isn't grabbing
-Uses the new animation system in Unity
-Butters --> N + left/right arrow keys
-Presses --> N + up/down arrow keys
-You can now change your key bindings.
-This is useful if you hate the placement of a certain key on the keyboard
-Since controller mapping depends on the driver and the controller, it's also good for mapping the controller buttons
I had an unofficial level editor a while back with an account system. Quite a few people made accounts but I never actually released it.
-Save levels to database
-Custom level pages that can be shared. Other users with an account can "star" your level
Clicking Play now leads to the level selector
-Up/down vote rating system
-Sort by Hot (reddit style), Latest, Top rated day / week / month / all time, My levels, Starred
-The original level is gone
-Old levels will not be playable in the new version --> There will be a link to the old version of the game
-Some of the animations are still a little wonky --> Working on fixing them
-No more level code --> I plan on adding the ability to save/load level code so that people can save iterations of levels, save them without them showing up in the level selector or work on a level as a group without having to log into one account.
-No more trees --> I still haven't added the tree placer I had made for the last level editor that was never released
-No more automatic controller mapping --> With the new input system any controller can be mapped, not just PS3 or Xbox controllers
-Level editor controls are different
-Slope up / down in the level editor messes up your level if you press it too many times --> Will either add a disclaimer or try to detect when it's about to mess up the level
-Input labels are slightly confusing
-Lack of new features
-Lack of textures --> Plan on adding many more
