Boot Buying Help

So Im buying another crappy pair of skis, crappy bindings and crappy boots cuz im still growing a lot so I don't want to buy a nice expensive setup and be too big for it next year... So Ive got skis and bindings picked out but I need a pair of boots and I have no clue what I want to buy, I need a good pair that aren't too heavy, good for park and ok for the rest of the mtn, they can be 27.-28.5 and im hoping for a pair under $150 if possible... any suggestions will help

Gear talk. Also, spend good money on boots. The performance difference between shit=boots and good boots is worth it, and if/when you grow out of them you can sell them for not a ton but at least part of the money back. For example, a $400 pari can be resold for maybe $100-150, so you really only spent $250

Salomon SPK are quite decent and you could find a new pair in your price range. I think you shouldn't consider buying used ones tho.

this guy is right. salomon spk are amazing. last year I was in some Nordica racing boots and they were killing my shins. then I bought some spk's and my shins were great!!! the spk is the best boot out there.

Look at sierra trading post they often have 30-40% off coupon codes. Although I recently got a pair of full tilt classics for 180 brand new from rei with enough left over to buy another tongue and some footbeds

okay one, yeah gear talk. 2 get a pair of good boots, but if you wanna save money cuz your growing (we have all been in your boots ;) ) get used you can find great high performance boots that are used and well within your 150 budget also figure out your true size, none of this 27-28.5 bullshit boots are the most important part of your skiing and need to fit perfectly.
