Are you living in Montana?! Cause it totally makes you want to tele!!! I really wanted to learn when I was a ski bum there for my short time and the bug has stuck with me for years but I have no one around to teach me. Park City used to do Tele-Tuesdays where you could take a class to learn, anything like that at your resort?

Been out here for two years now! I did it a few times back at Northstar when they had free clinics, but being around SO many people doing it has made it look more appealing!!!

Whoot! Hell ya girl, you're going to love it. Having a solid alpine base is going to take you a long way. It's not the same thing by any means, but there is a lot of crossover :) Don't expect to pick it up 100% in a day, it is a little weird learning the transferring of your weight when your skis are offset like that. But stay aggressive- seriously helps soooo much and it's one of the biggest hiccups I see when teaching someone new- and go into it with a positive outlook.
