wolfbackpackI worked at keystone as a scanner for a season. It's pretty damn chill for the most part, yea there's a few d bags there but that's everywhere you go. everyone was really fun and liked to party a lot (dont get sucked into the summit bum life though) have fun working on ALL powder days and never gettin real ride breaks though.
theabortionatorHow long ago was this. I noticed at least BC and I think vail the ticket scanners were through guest services. They run an 8 hour shift and have the option to either take the morning or afternoon half and the other side they're out riding talking to guests and stuff. Actually seemed pretty. Not a bad idea either if it keeps people more motivated in that position.
I checked tickets for a couple months when I shatter my collar bone in NH. It was pretty beat, didn't even have a scanner, had to manually check em all.
It might be different at various vail resorts but if it's the same, as BC was this last year it seems decent.
