ndyeHe had some trouble with injuries
L_BI feel like this is the case for 90% of the pro's that just vanish.
slugworthhe was a pretty big name in terms of skiing vlogs. that's where his success really is
BigTownKidhe placed in the king of style years back
Granite_StateHe flies commercial airlines now which is cool as fuck. Imagine boarding a plane and hearing "Hello, this is your Captain Ian Cosco..." That would be crazy.
RusticlesInjuries, getting old, when you start getting up to the 26-27 year age ambition to keep pushing becomes harder and harder to find.
First dub 12 in the backcountry I believe
CamembertHe didnt get signed with a heavy pan company..
BigTownKidChug was god, and still is. He had the style, class, almost made the Canadian freestyle Olympic team, and suddenly he just fucked off and vanished? What the fuck happened to his skiing career? Last time i heard he was fucking flying planes or something

HolteCame to post this. I think he won a Powder award for it that year. A huge switch landed dub in the backcountry was mind blowing in 2008, and still a really sick shot.

Honestly, being a professional skier doesn't sound that amazing. I really don't envy much about professional athletes of any sport.[/QUOTEHow does being a pro skier sound bad? Yeah injuries are prevalent and constant travelling, but getting paid to ski?!?! How does that not sound good.
However being a pro athlete in a major sport like football or basketball would be terrible with everything you do and say being constantly analyzed, but in a small niche sport like freestyle skiing, that wouldn't be a problem.

Download-My-AppsExactly. I think most people after 10ish years of pushing skiing just want to do other things. I'm sure there are many skiers that could physically push it well into their 30's before calling it a career. But there is a whole other world out there and chances are skiing isn't getting them rich.
