Building a dry slope kicker for my rail?

so I have everything on my summer setup done except for the littler kicker to get onto the rail, I was thinking of building it out of a pallet but I'm not sure how I would do that because my run way is on the ground so there would be a bump getting onto the pallet. I was thinking I could just use some thick ply would and stick some 4x4s on the end but would that hold up? I know it's not that big of a deal but I don't want to have to go and by more supplys I have a few 2x4s left and some plywood does anyone have a suggestion on how to go about this
