About a year or so ago I stole my friends phone and hid in the bathroom to take a dump and while I was taking care of business they found the key to get in and busted in I was frolicking around the bathroom trying to get away with my pants around my ankles and my friend opened up his camera and snapped a quick photo of my dingy luckily it was blurry so no true detail was shown but you knew what it was, he sent it to a group chat and my one friend replied asking if that was my dingus, hence the name. And it stuck, how everyone calls me dingus from teachers to workers on the mountain. Few know the true tale.
