Bridge/cliff jumpers, i have a great suggestion

Obviously a lot of us on here love jumping off shit into water during the summer, and ive seen some fuckin wild videos on here before, so i'd like to suggest a trick if youre looking for some inspiration:


the 1.5 backy. 1.5 front flips into a dive is a classic but i don't think im a bad enough dude to try the 1.5 backflips into back dive. most of the time i try a back dive alone i puss out and just complete the flip

so if you'd like, add stupid ideas here, or make claims that you'll regret later when you feel the need to back it up.

TL;DR: someone please do 1.5 backflips into a back dive and post it, ill buy you a case of beer or something. but don't get hurt trying or i'll feel bad

oh and other ideas:

-cork 7 off a rope swing, ive never been able to go past 5

-inward front flip or inward switch cork/rodeo. inward anything is wild

ive tried the 1.5 fronty, not that hard if you can do dives confidently. its really just committing to it haha. i really wanna see some handspring/round off combos. ive tried but its really scary judging the distance to the edge haha

oh yeah, IMO the 1.5 fronty is easier than regular fronts cause you can spot your landing and adjust really easily

and ive done flips where i do half a cartwheel off the edge into a flip, so i end up doing 1.5 fronts total and land in a dive. but that's nothing compared to a handspring or roundoff combo haha, like you said judging the distance to the edge would be rough

I've done the 1.5 before, the only problem is that when you're jumping off 10+ feet, if your the slightest bit off, you get pounded in the face or the back of the head

I always hated 1.5s and was asked to leave my high school dive team because i refused to get comfortable with landing on my head. Also, anyone tumbling/tricking into cliff jumps, please be extra extra careful.. I am lucky to just have a scar on forehead from misjudging the distance and smacking my head on the way down.

one to add/try are leaps of faith where you jump from a spot further back or higher and have to go over something that makes it so you cant really see your landing. It definitely keeps it interesting.

I went up there that day to film with them, jumped with them on a couple occasions before. craziest people I've ever met I've gotta say. Pretty cool to meet Mike Wilson too

So I try to learn a few new things every summer since I started a few years back but its always so hard to just get over the fear of smacking hard (because I did it once and scared the shit out of my self). I've managed to get the superman fronties down, and some off axis front flip stuff, but cant get the courage to try anything backwards.

pimp flip (misty 5 to backflip) would be a mellow dub to throw off like a 15 - 20 footer. you can make em flow super well if you practice the rotation enough

he's basically describing a dub misty 9. misty 5, which leaves you facing backward, and at that point you do a switch backy basically

Probably my favorite cliff jumping edit ever made. These guys got me started with cliff jumping and continue to impress me to this day.
