Mitts with poles?

So I like mitts more than gloves because they are a lot warmer than gloves but I find it a lot more difficult to do grabs with mints while holding poles as opposed to doing it in gloves, does anyone have any tips for this?

Shouldn't really be an issue, surely your pole grip will just sit in the 'v' between your thumb and index finger, but for whatever reasons that seems not to be the case.

Potential solutions:
-Skinnier pole grips.
-Three finger mits.

Grab tabs found on LINE ski poles they could help, but that dose mean buying new poles. You could ditch the hole pole thing and go for no poles!

Yes but my poles have grips that look like this so there is really nothing for them to rest on.

I ski with mitts and poles just like yours all the time. For me I've just developed the ability to grip the pole on the gap between my thumb and pointer finger tight enough that I can still grab my ski with the tips of my fingers.

Just take the grips off your poles. Take said poles to any bicycle store and see if they have grips to fit your poles. Then just super glue them on

you gotta adjust the DIN's on your poles so that they fit your hand better and wont release. Pm me if you have anymore questions.

I've gone through 3 pairs of poles this season (the line poles being the 4th) and they have held up since mid February aside from a broken basket thing making it an inch shorter than the other and no metal tip thing but I'll figure something out

they don't sell them anywhere, really. your best bet is to buy a new bike and then throw everything away but the handle grips. i know a couple friends who took that route.

Hope this is a joke because that's a total load of shit, id love to see a company try to sue for using bike grips on their poles. That'd be the easiest case for the defense lol.

Sorry you must be new here but yes that was sarcasm and a joke. I do work at panda poles, but no, we don't have a patent for putting BMX style grips on bamboo.

We do offer BMX style grips, but we aren't the only ones. Line has been making that style of grip for a while, and Armada as well. I'm sure there are a lot more. What we do offer are the one and only Zero Drag baskets, 3 grip choices, 3 strap choices, 2 bamboo choices, and a 1 year warranty. Our poles are also hand crafted in the USA by people who really care about skiing, and not just pressed out by some machine over in China. Oh, did we mention they're magic?

And yes, Braxton (.lencon) is an intern at Panda Poles, but please don't misconstrue his comments as a representation of our organization... He was being sarcastic, and regardless we appreciate his support... #TribeUP chilluns!

The way I use my straps so I dont get skiers thumb, the grab tabs make it so I can fully open my hand without them leaving my palm since they rest on top of the meat between thumb and index

How is this even an issue? I've used mitts all my life and have never had any problems with gripping poles. It's laughable that companies would actually make grips specifically for people without enough finger dexterity to close their hand properly around a normal pole grip.

I like Panda poles and everything other than the basket . I know theres a reason for the shape and style of it but i would be nice to have the option for normal Baskets.
