Don't get full rotation on front flip means you'll land on your back/ass
Don't get full rotation on backflip means you'll land on neck
Front flip requires less balls (in my opinion) but once you get backflips down I feel that they are easier.

100% agree. I've done both and I am still sketched out by frontflips. They're very easy to underrotate in which case you have a painful back landing or extreme shinbang. I learned front flips first and initially found them less scary than backies but now I prefer backies.
Thats how my first front flip was, until I realized that knees could bend I was folding in half, bad pic but you get the concept, what ever you do op do not do what I did.
