Hey there NS, I'm turning to you guys for more help because every time I ask a question I get 1 really awesome answer %100 of the time. Recently I've realized that my skis were awesome for jumps; I was skiing the Line Invaders for awhile. I recently realized that every time I try to butter it just KILLS my knee. I went out and bought some B-Dogs after doing research on finding super flexible skis. When I got them I had a blast but I still have the same problem.
What can I do to break my skis in quicker so I can learn how to butter? I'm not a very aggressive skier and after blowing my knee out 2 seasons ago I'm pretty scared (for lack of a better word) to hit big jumps and rails constantly to break em in.
I know leaning into a butter is going to help but I need a little bit more advice including
how to break in skis
how I should position myself for presses/butters
and lastly what I can do to make sure that I don't blow my knee out again.
