so , remake of the og cossack thread i made last night, this time with a REAL poll to see how you guys do your cossacks. i mean really who doesnt like a nice deeeeeeeeep cossack.

pic of me poles between legs here (very bad quality but pretty deep cossack)


good quality pic but slightly more shallow.


and poles in the armpits here

Lol at everyone agreeing that between the legs is the right way until an orange name posts differently.

I respect that the trick is traditionally done the armpits way but I've never seen or heard of anyone doing it that way before today so I don't know.

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that >80% of "Newschoolers" don't know the correct names for old school tricks.

It should be said, however, that names of tricks are not matters of opinion, especially when those tricks were invented before you started skiing.

and yea, trick was probly around before i was even born. so this wrong way we have been doing it is nicknamed the "cherry picker" sooo yea. cossack ... cherry picker... whatever. go out and shred and have a good time.

I must say I agree with this. I mean freedom is good and all, but if we all of a sudden allowed tricks to be re-named at will, we'd both never give credit to their inventors and have total anarchy.
