So I'm not the best skier at Hyland Hills, I only recently leaned rails on pencil. But I've noticed that the skiers that are not so great such as me have to take a lot of shit from the better skiers. Whenever I'm skiing, I'm having the time of my life messing around with friends and doing tricks, even goinng shirtless when I ski if it's too hot. But some people seem to take skiing too seriously and give aforementioned shit to you if you're not as good.

The people that talk shit are probably just trying to make themselves feel better bcos they have a shitty attitude. Sounds like you're having a great time so who cares what they think or say man.
It seems like all the good people at my hill are chill as fuck the only time i get bad vibes are when ridding with people under or above my skill level but around it. Theirs always one over competitive person when O ride with a big group that feels threatened because this is my 1st year of park and this is there like 5th. It feels good having some competition tho. There was this skier who was a little better then me but kept insisting to play me in ski. I kept up with him because I would do sketchy shit. it was tied sk to sk and I threw a flip cus I knew he wouldn't and it was great not saying anything after winning and just skiing away from his upset face.

Confronting bullies is a lot like prison. Walk up to the nastiest bully in the group and punch him square in the face and then kick him/urinate on him once he's on the ground. You will then become the alpha male in the Hyland Hills park and reign supreme above all.

Ya I understand. I like doing laps on the park however once it doesn't get fun I just run glades or some groomers. I love hitting glades and running off the glade trail and making your own is the best. If you haven't done it then i recommend trying it.

its guys like that, we on newschoolers call fuckboys. They dont want you getting good and passing them up so they try to scare you off. Just shake it off and prove their bitch asses wrong.
I'll try to put some honesty in here. You can't ever expect people to be nice. It's rare that people will be asses over how good you are, fuck those people anyways. Skiers like to joke around a lot so take everything lightly, the only person I've seen take skiing seriously is mystery man. Usually any shit that gets thrown at you is motivated by something other than your ability (park etiquette, personality and how you conduct yourself on hill). Outerwear overhauls and attitude shifts really expand how you see skiing. There's a sign in the park that says "respect gets respect" it doesn't lie. Skiing is fun but it's a matrix of feelings and attitudes that can only be transcended by absolute positivity towards others.

one should only ski to win comps. train at the gym, and practice seriously hard, there is no room for fun in this sport
