Where to Ski

I'' planning on going skiing for a week or two right after exams, and I'm trying to decide where to ski. Whistler and Mount Hood are about the same distance driving. whats better for costs in terms of lift tickets and lodging, and skiing conditions

Mt hood is cheaper, but the snow is terrible right now.
