Cheapest lodging at snowshoe?

Where's the cheapest place to stay at/near snowshoe since everything on top is owned by the mountain.

check around marlinton, there should be cheaper options there. vrbo for non-snowshoe owned properties. i think it's cheaper to fly somewhere out west and vacation than stay at snowshoe now

found this hostel in elkins, WV called the brewstel...? ever heard of it or know if its legit? supposed to be 25 a night for a bunk

personally i don't know anything about it, but for $25 it's probably worth a shot

Find an employee on the site, give him some money and beer, and stay there. Some employee housing sucks but some is alright.
