it's kind of a personal thing, but generally park riders like softer skis for butters and such. for groomers and high speeds, a stiffer ski is better

No they won't be to soft. a ski like the fujative of 1080 is soft, and when soft skis hit bumps at high speeds you tend to bounce off them a little which is really bad if your hualling ass.

im 14 years old, 5'7' 158 lbs. hopin to grow more

and i was told that the stiffer the ski the harder it is to land jumps. If im starting park this year should i go for a softer one? cuz i was hopin to get the skogens(ill be doing all mountain too.)

befor this year I used atomic GS skis in the park and they are about as stif of ski as you can find and they were easy to land on. I personaly think a stiffer ski makes landing easier, not harder, but that might be me.

the skogen is stiffer than the nick,a dn the pollard is stiffer than both. if you ski a lot of groomers, a ski with good dampening (abliltiy to soak up vibration) is a good choice. my chronics are fairly stiff for a park ski, but as they are lines, they arent damp, adn chatter a fair amount. i would think volkls ax4 or something is a good ski for groomers, and a lot of groomer skiiers at my mtn have pocket rockets, dotn ask me why
