Broken Ankle??

So a buddy of mine just broke his ankle skiing and will be out for the rest of the season, hoping to get people with experience about any tips to recover fast, also anything he should do in the mean time to stay in shape n shit. Thanks.

I broke my ankle at the beginning of this year. For two weeks I just blazed and watched ski movies crying.

Told myself I would work upper body a bunch but it's just too rough moving around the gym with crutches. Out in 6 of cast in weeks and skied in 8.
