Currently deciding where to study, and, my criteria for a successful trip would be; partying, having things to do (ie skiing) and meeting people.
Is UofC a good idea?
Wondering if I could get some locals insight...ty
k-robyou could do better.
jdpowI'm in my second year at UofC, living in rez both years. It's definitely a party first year (opportunities to drink at least 3 nights per week except during exams). Campus bar is rowdy as fuck on thursdays.
With regards to skiing, it's pretty close to COP, but not walking distance (I end up there a couple times per month). And there is a bus to Louise that goes out on weekends with decent prices that leaves from pretty close.
I say if you have the opportunity, live in rez first year. You won't regret it, one of the best years of my life. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
stucciYeah my 2nd choice is now McMaster in Ontario. 1st is Lund, Sweden.
Thanks for the help fellas
