Full Tilt Leg Pain

At the beginning of the season I got a pair of Full Tilt Dropkicks and just recently they have been causing a lot of pain. When I tried them on in the shop they were very comfortable and that is why I thought they were the boot for me. I have very skinny legs however so I have been trying to adjust for that by buckling down the boot very tightly. I don't know if it is shinbang or what but whenever I ski park in these boots they start to kill my lower legs. After every jump, my shins hurt very badly and on the lift I notice my calves hurt a lot too. Is there anything I can do to fix this without getting new boots?

Try to tighten the top cuff and strap of your boot more or wear a sock thicker were you boot hits shin maybe just double up or get the full tilt pro boot liners

Full Tilts aren't the perfect boots for everyone. My full tilts hurt for the first couple of days using them because they weren't broken in and i didn't wear them tight enough.

Is the pain on the outside of your shins? Like if you are wearing your boot and you know where your liner wraps around?

Did the shop do a proper boot fit with custom footbeds etc? Or did you just try and buy?

If you did the latter theres a chance the boots are too big for you. Also a booster strap helps no end with leg retention.

I was in the same exact situation as you about 2 weeks ago. I then took the boots to the bootfitter and the guy expanded the cuff with heat so my lower leg wasnt hurting anymore after that. He also grinded the footboard a bit so that my ankle would be lower and more secure in the boot. I really advise you to check a bootfitter out. They really can solve your problems out. I actually ski much better now with these boots.

I got them fitted, heat mold and everything. I brought them back today and they said my leg is too skinny in comparison to my boot size (28.5). They tried putting in smaller cords and also putting something in front of my shin but neither of those worked. After that they basically said they had no idea what else to do.

Did you try on other boots before settling on the full tilt? I'm a 28.5 and i'm 6'4 weight 220 so don't exactly have small legs and even I have found some boots are too slack, booster strap solved the issue on my current boots.

I tried on some Langes as well but overall they just didn't feel as comfortable as the FTs. I was thinking about getting a booster strap but I feel like that could possibly make it more painful than it already is. Would a booster strap really be able to lessen the gap between my leg and the liner?

Please explain how the pro boot liner would make a difference?
