For some reason these days whenever I listen to a song The first thing my mind goes to is how an edit would flow with it. Is this just me or do other ski rats do this too???

dude. every morning from home and every evening to home i listen to music and picture myself doing tricks on the rails/sidewalks/benches/cars/anything that i see on my way. It used to freak me out but now it's just a thing I do whenever i'm walking with music alone. dam i'm insane xD

I do this all the time. I have an excellent edit lined up for Paulo Nutini Iron sky. I just need to film stuff - and I've already done my annual ski trip without filming anything. Damn. Maybe next year.

I do that a lot. Sometimes I even just throw the song into imovie to see how the clips actually fit with the song

Yep same here. Whenever I'm driving and the radio is on I'm making an edit in my head. Now I just need to get around to making an actual edit...

All I do in school is imagine grinding the tables or the hand rails in the stairwell. I have a huge urge to haul some snow in there and build a lip.

Well when others drive I spot the features and do stuff on them. I get deep in deep fantasy, even have some music going. So one day I'm driving through town all alone. I'm headed home. There's this super slow lady in front of me so I get in the other lane and pass her. I cork 7 over her. Tail tap the Fire hydrant. Urban that brick wall. Slide that rail. I'm deep in fantasy. I'm probably speeding too. I mean I was deep. I was listening to se good tunes as well. Butter that sidewalk. Laid out backy over that car. Next thing I know I'm grinding a traffic light pole. I'm halfway through this pole and see a bright red circle. OH SHIT! I panic, what was probably one second slows down to an eternity. I pedal to the medal in case someone was coming. I get to the other side. I look back and see the lady I passed stopped at the red light. I see no one go through the intersection. "I'm lucky" I thought to myself. I wait to see flashing lights and sirens to get pulled over. I didn't. I escaped this time, the cops won't ticket me for urban this time. I stop fantasizing. I realized that I could have just got T boned by a truck or grilled a small child. I proceed with caution and head on home.


I haven't done any hard core fantasy while driving since...

I usually fall asleep to my skiing playlist and all I imagine is a sick season edit that flows to each song, depending on the song the edit would be me skiing like bobby, matt walker or even kieran mcslay.
