Jacket Vs Flannel

Hey... I've been looking at the Saga Insulated Flannel, and it seems like a fairly good deal. Has anybody owned this flannel, and know how it performs, and how it looks in person? I'm deciding whether to save $200 and get the flannel, or spend the money for a real jacket. I have a jacket I can use if it's real cold, but it looks like shit. So, save the money and get flannel, or spend the extra for jacket?

I have a saga insulated flannel. Definitely not warm enough to serve as a jacket alone, and not like its waterproof really. They're sweet to have don't get me wrong, but invest in a solid jacket.

Invest in a nice jacket. Then go to Costco or some place and buy an oversized flannel with a sweatshirt underneath.

this ^ the insulated flannel is not warm enough to act anywhere close to a real jacket, and it isn't supposed to. It is goof for spring skiing and stuff but if you are skiing in temps below 20 then it definitely isn't enough.
