Cam Riley On 4FRNT

Looks like Cam is riding for 4FRNT now. I treated to see how the skis hold up in Urban, especially with a rider like Cam.

I doubt someone like Cam goes through THAT many. Sure they ski them hard, but you don't actually ski that much when you hit urban. I would ballpark at maybe 10 pairs?

I have three pairs of 4FRNTs now. They have soft based, so if anything the bases would've first to go. Regardless I'm stoked.

Totally, I think even 10 pairs would be stretching it. All I'm saying is the cost of producing 40 pairs of skis might not be worth one skier, unless they were a super pro. I guess it would depend how much 4FRNT would really want to invest into an urban only skier, which let's be honest. Urban only skiers don't sell nearly as many skis as a big name xgames pro like Tom or Henrik. I'm not saying these are my opinions, just my observations.

Agreed. Also, while you don't need to maintain a ski you're going to use for urban in perfect condition, someone who rides slope or pipe comps at a high level is going to need their skis to be super dialed to keep speed, so they might throwaway a ski sooner.

Now I'm actually kind of curious how many skis most pros get in a season, and which kinds of skiers use more. Any orange names out there tonight?

really depends on the quality. idk about 4frnt but ik sam zahner went through like ten pairs of revisions last year

yea ive noticed that too. theyre super fast if hot waxed and then waxed properly, but get gouges super easy, especially compared to my 1.8mm kitten factory 400000000001 one bases lol

That's insane.. But then again the course was so big they needed every bit of speed they could get so I guess he has a fresh waxed pair for every run like racers? I think that's like 15 ish pairs. But still..

Dub post but all the skis I see/have ridden from them were crappy or beat up really easily. They remind me of NJ snowboarders for some reason..

In other sponsorship news, do you think Antti Ollila is sponsored by Faction now, or he just bought a pair of faction skis?

If any company were to sponsor him it would probably be Faction lool
