My sister dances at a studio 4 days a week, the studio is about 20 miles from where I live and tonight, i was responsible for picking her up.

Just like every other night I drove there with Wu-Tang pumpin in my car and when i showed up i realized i was a big early. So i hung out in my car for a bit, trying to stay warm. It was about 8:30 and where i live at this time of year its pretty dark outside, so when i looked out my window and saw something moving in the bushes, it was kinda out of the ordinary. and to see a reflection of light in the bushes was even more weird.

curious about what it was i got out of my car and began walking towards this light. as i got closer a dark figure stood straight up and starred at me. thinking it was kinda weird to be squatting in the bushes next to an all girls dance studio, i asked the guy what he was doing. as i did i realized that he had a camera wrapped around his neck.

him being in, what i can only describe as total shock, gave me the opportunity to run at him and and grab his arm, then drag his ass into the studio to confront the owner. he was babbling on about taking pictures of the building, or something. and when i got into the studio they "put it on lock down", so all the dancers had to go in the changing room and stay in there. and we locked this guy into the storage room with 3 other guys.

i pointed out what window he was looking through and it just happened to be the room that "everyone changes in" according to the owner. The window had shades on it and was facing the woods, so someone would REALLY have to go out of their way to get to it. But the shades on the window were just a little open, enough for a 40 year old man to look through.

it was a very awkward situation, especially for the girls. When the cops showed up they took his camera and found no pictures of women on the camera, that means he cant be charged and nothing can be done about it... LUCKY BASTARD

i think its FUCKED that they let him off like that.

what do you think newschoolers? Should he have been arrested and butt raped or what?

is it illegal to take candid photos like that? I remember hearing somewhere that you can walk around NYC freely snapping pictures at randos and cops won't do anything to you.

My dad was DA,and still practices. He said if they didnt find anything on it there is nothing that can be done...

Oh dont worry, I told him the whole story when I got home. He said what I did was right. Not only did the police thank me for pointing the man out, but they also gave me a sheriff's badge sticker. It is dank as fuk.

It has to do with the presumption of privacy or something similar, in public you give up presumption of privacy, because you are In public and shouldn't presume others can't see you, but in a changing room or something similar you do have a presumption of being in private, making such videos or pictures illegal

Or something like that





Also op, you said you locked him in a room with 3 guys, where did those three guys come from and what on earth were they doing to that man while he was locked inside a closet for 3 hours

My grandfather likes to walk around and take pictures of characters (guys with bushy beards, homeless people, etc.). He has never been in trouble with the cops, but he once took a picture of a black man, who pretty much wanted to kill him.

Well, he wasnt in there for 3 hours, but it was some time... They were trying to calm him down because he knew that he was gunna get some shit. I really dont know the specifics of that cause I was talking to the owner.
