NH_OPERATORThis new GoPro Ad is popping every single time I hit the homepage. This cannot be functioning as intended, can it? Its highly annoying.

Only supposed to hit maximum once per person per day. Looking into it, definitely not the intended behavior.

Every time I hit homepage or link to NS from facebook it comes up

On the subject of ads, is there a way to make the very top banner load simultaneously with the rest of the page? Every page I load appears like this for the first 4 to 7 seconds.

Then the rest of the page loads, and the threads all get bumped down 40% of the screen, like this.

So if I move to click on "Murdered out J Ski - 4 days only" in the first few seconds, I end up accidentally clicking on the top ad banner when the ads load. Guess I could view the page super zoomed out like the screencap below, but that's not ideal since NS is designed with a tall slender format, and the text is kinda difficult to read on a smaller laptop screen.

I know companies dislike side banners, but it sure would be nice if the top banner was placed somewhere else to give a little more screen space to the threads. Or at least load it at the same time as the rest of the page.

And I thought the REI ad was bad. geez. Didn't have an issue with ads on this site ever - until that REI ad came up, and now this.

Last few days ads seem to be on another level. I thought the video ones were annoying enough. Too many more ads and I will start going somewhere else for ski content.

On the bright side the clip at 0:30 on the video that pops up is fucking insane
