freeskibum82was a great day today. snow was good and lots of trails open. their "park" is terrible right now. hopefully by next weekend they have more set up other than some rails on the ground..
for lift ticket prices, its normal season so full price. which is i believe $98... yup.. you read that right, 98 dollars for flatton. i mean 98 bucks for stratton.... if you want a good park, save your money and go to mount snow.
RubberSoulit's 98 bucks RIGHT NOW? what douchers. no wonder i havent been to their molehill in years
as someone else said, though, yeah i think their young adult pass is mad reasonable
KravtZYup its super expensive but thats the way the resort wants to be known.
KravtZYup its super expensive but thats the way the resort wants to be known. They used to have an amazing park back in the day but stopped after that big riot/fight. Really upscale place though most park rat type of riders go over to mt. snow now.
RubberSoulah i didn't even think of that. good points
and yeah dude their park used to be awesome. some of my favorite memories as a new park skier were in stratton parks. WOOP WOOP!
KravtZGrew up and still ski there. The suntanner parks were legendary the bus was the best box i have still to date ridden. Actually a great mountain if you know the good spots in the woods. Surprisingly some pretty good terrain hidden around.
RubberSoulhm yeah id love to hit it up again (especially with someone who knows the place well), but it's probably not gonna happen any time soon
KravtZThere parks are way downhill compared to what they used to be. USed to be able to ride 2 or 3 parks in one run. They moved them all to the backside and I find most of them just suck..runs are to tight or have steep pitches just not nearly as good. Many of those awesome old rails/boxes they had/have are just sitting in piles scattered around the mountain and never get put in.
That being said...some awesome terrain if you know where to look. Gets a bad rep as an easy mountain but there are some fn things hidden around...drops into chutes, some bigger cliffs (8-10 footers) some amazing hidden tree spots around. But I won't tell you where they are lol
amieastcoastyetif your 18-26 get the double down about $400 for both snow and Stratton.
thats what i got. Almost done paying it off. Worth the money.
BackhausThis. I've paid mine off already this season. Well worth the price if you're in this age group. There's also $30 off codes floating around for it so a grand total of $360 for two mountains with no black out dates? Yes please
Huck_Norris"The Upper Upper West Side" has not been it's nickname for no reason. I mean, how are the other Manhattan socialites going to know how cool you are if you didn't overpay for a Stratton pass?
Gotta love the Speed Bear passes though- $50k and you stroll right past the whole liftline. That's some shit right there! I wonder how many times you have to get booed before you just say fuck it and go to the Hermitage Club?
