Raw Ramen

I have a friend that has never eaten cooker ramen just eats it raw all the time. Does anyone else do this or is my friend jusy fucking weird?

The last time I ate ramen (cooked or uncooked) was in elementary school. I probably traded a perfectly good sandwich for it because my parents wouldn't buy it. It was gross then and I presume it still gross now.

I've eaten it raw before. You can dip it in the salty seasoning they give you to flavor it like a potato chip. I really only ever ate ramen in any form in undergrad when I was broke and effed up. That shit is pretty meh haha

Someone explain how people got sick from this, way too lazy to google it.
