How to re heat mold intuition liners?

Hi NS,
Im getting ready for the season up here in VT and I want to know how I can re heat mold my intuition liners for my dalbellos.
I tried my boots on the other day and something didnt feel right so Id like to just have a go at re heat molding.

I cant go to the shop I bought them at because I bought them 4 hours away.

I also dont have any of the thin socks or foam toe caps that the ski shop guy used when I originally got them molded at the shop.

What feels weird about them? Once a liner is bedded in heat moulding won't really do much. It may just feel weird as you have not had them for a while. But let us know what the cry all problems your having are and we may be able to advise how to inprove it.

yeah just the outside of my right foot is the only problem, it gets pretty painful after a couple of runs, Ive tried tightening/loosening the buckles but that doesnt work well, thats why I was making the assumption that i might as well try heat molding again

Just wondering if you have any footbeds in your boot? Have you recently injured your foot too? Once the liners are packed in they aren't going to give you much room. How many days have u skied these liners? Maybe they arent packed in enough? I found that when i got my liners heat molded they felt better right off the bat but after i skied them 20+ times they felt even better then before...

Sound like you are pronating in the boot and this is causing the pressure in te outside of the foot. Do you have any kind of footbed? This problem gets worse as the boot ages. When the liner is new it can better hold your foot some what neutral. As it packs out it allows more space which can in turn lead to more instability. It may also be feelin worse now as often in summer you will wear less surport ice footwear so your feet will often collapse more.

Would you happen to know if a heat moldable footbed I can buy from amazon like the Sole ones would fix this or would I need to get one custom made for my foot? My boots used to be comfortable but after I broke my foot I've come to the conclusion that my arch must be dropping and that's why it's hurting come the afternoon?

I would go to a ski shop. You don't have to go custom but they will be so muc better then a generic trim to fit. It certainly sounds like a surport issue so hopefully it should be easily resolved.

yes I have a footbed, I think I might just be better off buying another liner for my boots and then using the same footbed.
is this a good idea mr pietrowski?

Possibly. It will come down to the shell. If the shell is good shape wise and the footbeds are working well then possibly a new liner will help. But I would take them to a fitter and have him look at your foot in the shell and how your current footbeds are working for you.
