Me+friends transformed some snow piles into a park(pics included). What feature have you built that you're most proud of?
KravtZThats awesome man. Looks like a lot of work definitely worth it though. Hopefully doesn't melt to fast!
Haha me too! We're hoping to make it a semi-permanent thing, and reincarnate it in a new form every time it snows. All the plows on my campus dump their snow right there, so I'm not too worried.
That looks beautiful? Any footy of you guys skiing this??
Pretty proud of the stuff I've built in my tiny back yard over the years! I enjoy shoveling and creating new features just as much as I love skiing it once it's done!

those rails are gonna get buried every time it snows. i would advise pulling em off to the side every time you get some fresh snow, or else you wont see em till spring

Holy shit, you WIN dude. That all looks rad as fuck!!
EvanSamson.I'm planning to do this too any tips for building rails
I would build them beforehand out of PVC or some kind of metal railings if you can get your hands on them. We started out just building a couple kickers and thought some rails would be nice so we literally just buried a couple of these
into the snow at a decent height. It'd be 10 times easier building all your features before-hand and only burying them as much as you have to to make 'em solid.

I'd hire you.
Get your ass on a park crew somewhere. A lot of mountains desperately need somebody with a good work ethic. If that person also rides parks and has some concept of how things should be then it's poised for great success in terms of that mountains park progression.
Also good that you have pictures. If you ever apply somewhere make sure you throw a little portfolio together.
Also would love to shred OP's setup as well. Keep updating as setup changes throughout the year. I love to see homemade parks with some love.

To be honest, I think your backyard setup is better than the "terrain park" at my home mountain...
Also this thread really makes me miss my own backyard park building days. When I got an old wheelbarrow it was a fucking game changer.
If I ever have kids(which I won't) I'm building them a crazy backyard park. I miss it but don't have the time now since I'm always on the hill working.
Really impressed with a lot of the stuff I've seen on NS over the years. You give me hope for the future.
