2015 Surface Blanks

those look sick! Also DAMN thats a good price point. $249 for the park and $279 for all mountain. If anyone has a previous model of these let me know how they are, I might have to buy a pair haha because I have this spare set of marker griffon bindings sitting around just waiting to be mounted on a pair of skis

Still not sure how the durability will hold up for that price point.

Okay, first off, you get what you pay for. They aren't the most amazing durability, but not bad for 250. Also, you have the option to buy just one blank for 150 and replace one. That's nice. Next, they are an awesome park ski. Sucky thing, they are now in the mold of the crazy stiff double time now. Buy the older ones if you still can. All mountain ones seem cool though.

all mountain ones are clearly the watch life...super super shitty ski in almost every respect except for weight...they are the lightest 100 mm ski on the market. spend twice the money and get something that doesnt absolutely blow ass. PM me if you want an in depth review on that ski

You get what you pay for, as you are already aware of. I loved my double-times for about half of a season... They have 9 edge cracks and are still solid skis. But one of the biggest drawbacks will be the extruded bases. If the snow isn't cold as shit, goodbye wax.

You would probably think these skis are perfect for sketchy early/late season rail jams. But that is precisely when those extruded bases will let you down (even if you wax every single day).

They are just blanks, those that avoid name brand skate decks know this game.

Have owned 4 pairs of watchlifes and love every single one of them. For me, great durability, holds and edge really nice and wide enough for East coast powder days. I always look for full camber since EC doesn't really have a need for rocker and I want that GS turning ability. I think they really ride fantastic and truly have nothing bad to say about them. Will be buying those blanks again soon. If you ride park 24/7 obviously sliding metal and slamming on ice will ruin them fast.

Maybe you had a bad experience but personally I love them.
