FS - Canon T3i, 2ft Camera Slider

Hey M&A,

Stoked to be moving forward with my equipment, I'm upgrading to a 7D MKII from my T3i. Subsequently, I no longer have a real need for my T3i, so I'm throwing it up here on NS.

How does the slider work? and does it attach to any tripod?

The slider is not motorized. There are plate attachments on the bottom of the slider to mount the slider to either a 3/8" or 1/4" screw (most tripods), and the camera can be mounted directly onto the slider carriage or a tripod head can be mounted to it instead. See the last picture.

How to you move the slider tho? with just your hand and slide it down?

damn dude could be real interested in that t3i.. although my 7d will be my backup soon but with over 200k shutter on that and my t2i's shutter already dead it could be helpful

Yup, you move it manually. A good trick is to move it using a rubber band or two to dampen the shaking you'll get from friction. All of the shots of Robby Wheeler in this edit were taken using the slider: https://vimeo.com/108082462

Gotten that question a few times, but I think I'd like to keep it all together. It's also probably more cost effective if you go to Amazon and get 2 Wasabi Power LP E8 batteries and a charger, it's a package deal for $20. Which is probably less than what it would cost to ship 2 batteries from me on top of the cost of them. Cheers!

Yup, I used them all winter, couldn't really tell the difference between them and my Canon batteries.
